CONTROL KNOBS

Control knobs are the interface between you and your grill’s burner system. They regulate gas flow to each burner, give you precise temperature control, and take more physical wear than almost any other component on your grill. Cracked, seized, or broken knobs make temperature management frustrating and imprecise. We stock replacement control knobs and bezels for current and previous generation models across our product lines, including the Supreme, Lux, Keystone, and Versa series. Our parts department can match the correct knob to your specific model quickly, so you’re back to cooking with full control.

The Benefits of Having the Right Control Knob Parts

A damaged or poorly fitting knob compromises your ability to manage cooking temperatures accurately. Cracked knobs slip during adjustment, making it difficult to set and hold precise heat levels. Seized knobs that are stiff to turn create unnecessary wear on the gas valve beneath, potentially damaging a more expensive component in the process. Replacing worn knobs early protects the valve mechanism and restores the smooth, precise temperature control your grill was designed to deliver.

Knobs and bezels also affect how your grill looks and feels to use. Faded, cracked, or mismatched components make even a well-maintained grill look neglected. Our replacement knobs are model-specific, meaning they fit and function exactly like the originals rather than generic substitutes that look slightly wrong and feel slightly off. For older models where some knob styles are no longer available, our parts team can advise on compatible substitutions that maintain proper function.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know which control knob fits my grill?

Knob compatibility varies by product line and in some cases by production year. The JK-14 fits Lux Series grills from 2012 onward and all Keystone Series models. The JK-200 fits the Supreme Series. Older Lux models up to 2011 use the JK-13, which has a chrome metal finish rather than the black accent design on current models. Contact our parts department with your model number and we’ll confirm the correct part before you order.

What's the difference between a control knob and a bezel?

The control knob is the component you turn to adjust gas flow and temperature. The bezel is the decorative trim ring that surrounds the knob on the control panel. Both are sold separately, so if only one is damaged you don’t need to replace both. Bezels are model-specific and designed to match the knob style for each product line.

Can I use a knob from a different model if it fits the valve stem?

We recommend against substituting knobs between models unless our parts team has confirmed compatibility. Even when a knob physically fits a valve stem, the rotation range and markings may not correspond correctly to the gas valve positions on your specific grill, making it difficult to identify off, low, and high positions accurately.

Are replacement knobs available for discontinued models?

We carry knobs for several previous generation models, including the Premier and older Lux Series. Some previous generation knobs are no longer available, but substitutions may be possible depending on your model. Contact our parts department with your model information and we’ll identify whether a replacement or compatible substitute is available.

Do replacement knobs come with bezels included?

No. Knobs and bezels are sold separately, allowing you to replace only the component that’s actually damaged rather than purchasing parts you don’t need.

How difficult is control knob replacement?

Knob replacement is one of the simpler repairs on any grill. Most knobs pull straight off the valve stem and the replacement pushes on in the same way, with no tools required. Some models use a set screw to secure the knob, which requires a small screwdriver or Allen key. If you’re unsure about the process for your specific model, contact our parts department for guidance before starting.

What warranty covers replacement control knobs?

Control knobs carry a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and material failures under normal use conditions. Review the warranty documentation included with your specific part for complete details.

How do I order replacement control knobs?

Contact our parts department at 1-888-287-3333 or info@jacksongrills.com with your grill’s model number and production year if known. We’ll confirm the correct part and process your order. We stock knobs and bezels for current models and many older ones, and we aim to ship quickly to minimize your downtime.
